This website is operated by Novacode Consulting (Pty) Ltd, referred to in this notice as Nova{code}. Its physical address is 37 Union Street, Lochnerhof, Strand, 7140, Western Cape, South Africa.
Privacy enquiries and requests may be sent to donovan@nova-code.co.
When you submit a website enquiry, the form asks for your name, email address, business name, telephone number, services of interest and message. Your name, email address and telephone number are required. The other visible fields are optional. If you do not provide a required field, the website cannot submit your enquiry.
The enquiry form is not an application for credit, a credit decision or financial advice. Please do not submit identity numbers, bank credentials, medical information, credit reports or other sensitive information through the general enquiry form.
The information is provided directly by you. The website’s Forminator system creates a submission record in the site’s WordPress database. Form notifications may also be delivered to authorised Nova{code} recipients through the site’s email infrastructure.
The intended recipient categories are authorised Nova{code} personnel, the website hosting provider and Google Workspace, which is used to receive domain email and may deliver form notifications. Access should be limited to people and service providers who need the information to operate the website, deliver email and respond to the enquiry.
Nova{code} does not use a general website enquiry to make a decision based solely on automated processing.
Nova{code} retains general website enquiries for one year after the last relevant interaction, unless a longer period is reasonably required for an active commercial relationship, dispute or legal record. Nova{code} then deletes or de-identifies the record when it is no longer authorised or required to retain it.
Nova{code} uses third-party website-hosting and Google Workspace email services. These services may store or process personal information outside South Africa. Nova{code} will only transfer personal information outside South Africa where the transfer is permitted under applicable South African data-protection law, including where the recipient is subject to a law, binding corporate rules or agreement that provides an adequate level of protection.
You may contact Nova{code} to ask whether it holds personal information about you and to request access, correction or deletion where applicable. You may also object to processing in circumstances recognised by applicable law. Send a request to donovan@nova-code.co. Nova{code} may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You may also contact or lodge a complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator through inforegulator.org.za or its eServices portal, by email at enquiries@inforegulator.org.za, or by telephone on 010 023 5200.
Nova{code} may update this notice when its website enquiry workflow or service providers change. The effective date should be updated when material changes are made.
